Girls Night! What's Your Favorite Thing About Your Body?
"What's Your Favorite Thing" Girls Night! | Saturday, June 27th, 2026 | 5-11pm
This past weekend, I hosted my first-ever WYFT Girls Night!
WYFT is my new acronym for “What’s Your Favorite Thing (About Your Body),” and I kind of love it.
Before I dive into Girls Night, if you’re on TikTok, follow along the journey of sharing people’s answers!
Welcome to What’s Your Favorite Thing About Your Body: Girls Night!

I got the idea to host a WYFT Girls Night, and I immediately went to my friend Caroline, who is the queen of hosting parties (see The Martini Service). She gave me all of the best advice for having the girlies night of my dreams, and I was excited to host my friends for a night of crafts, wine, and remembering how incredible, resilient, and badass we all are.
I took the idea to my wonderful roommate, Erika, who was immediately down to host this thing. (Shoutout to Erika for being a truly incredible friend and human to live with and for supporting me and my crazy ideas!)
I’d asked everyone to bring themselves, a snack/drink of choice, their favorite thing about their body, and to wear a fun outfit that makes them feel confident and most like themselves.
Erika and I spent the whole day prepping the space. I knew I wanted the vibes to be fun and girlie, and I wanted to go all out on the decor.
As my first few friends started to arrive, I was hit with a wave of gratitude for the incredible women in my life. How lucky am I that these friends showed up and showed out for this event? Like… beyond lucky. The snacks were abundant, the wine was flowing, and the crafts were crafting. I cannot thank these ladies enough for leaning into the theme, showing up with the outfits that made them being a part of this inaugural evening of voicing the things about our bodies we are appreciative of and reminding ourselves that we are truly enough as we are.
Here I am, the day after, recapping over a glass of wine and pasta. I truly would not have it any other way!

Kiara said her legs
And I said my laugh and my smile
These women sharing their favorite things about their bodies just solidified for me that we need more of these types of conversations in girlfriend groups. Conversations where each woman is on her own journey, has her own nuanced relationship to her own body, and might be going through her own trials and tribulations in terms of how she feels about her body. And yet, we are altogether creating reminders of how incredible our bodies are and celebrating the inner and outer magnificence that is the physical vessels that we get to experience life through. I know that I am grateful to my body for allowing me to hug these girls, for allowing me to see their innate beauty, and for allowing me to hear their sweet laughter. I am insanely lucky to have women around me who inspire me to keep going - I love you all 🩷

I’m not quite sure what this will bring or where this will take WYFT. I’m hoping to do this again in some capacity or another - possibly partner with some local businesses to host a Girls Night with women I’ve never even met before. If you have an idea or know of someone who would be interested in hosting, please get in touch!

Do you have a friend, family member, or peer who might want to be part of the conversation? I’d be honored if you could help me spread the word about Continued Conversations
While I’m not a licensed therapist, registered dietician, or medical health professional and cannot speak to body image topics from a clinical, trauma-informed place, I am an expert of lived experience. I’m an academic of my own body, and I’m passionate about facilitating conversations with other humans about their relationships with their bodies. I believe it’s important to continue conversations about healthy body image in creative spaces as a means to heal individuals as well as the collective whole.
